Am I stupid? Let's see.

Because Del Piero has scored a few from a long range, it means that no one else is better from long range? Mutu shoots with more power, that's his style and if you deny it Azzurri7 has hacked your account.

What next, Del Piero is better at slide tackling than Chiellini because he did it twice last year?
Don't be Zlatan, Mutu hasn't scored more than couple of freekicks from a long range. Thats a fact.

What next? There's no next, Del Piero is a god. Thats enough.

Exactement...I've only seen Becks and Sinisa score them one way, and whilst they may be more accurate than Ale, I've only seen them execute FKs the one way

I'll take your word for it

It's well documented, thankfully I haven't tested this. But nice reply nonetheless.

Del Piero, Juninho Pernambucano and Pirlo
Del Piero and Juninho for sure are the best, along with some others, but while i do like Pirlo as a player, i think his free kicks are distinctly average 19/20 times.

Edit : At least for the past year or two he has been average at them. However before he used to hit in some nice ones, i will agree.

Look, Del Piero is NOT the best freekick specialist in the game right now, or ever. I love him and consider him my captain, but this is getting ridiculous here. Assuncao is even been a better freekick specialist than the great Alex.

You guys need to take your blinders off.

Juninho and then Beckham probably run away with this title.

Del Piero was pretty damn up there though, at least at one point in time, u have to admit that. Juninho is legend at them for sure, a decent bit better than Del Piero, but he isnt half the player alex is when its not a dead ball situation, so at least Del Piero wins there :). I love Del Piero free kicks tho, unstoppable sometimes, and obviously being a Juventino theres a lot of bias involved. But i shouldnt say he is the best, i would say he is/was ONE of the best, at least in my opinion.

Alex DP is surely one of the best, who can forget that Free kick against Monaco in CL 98

Other than Mihajlovic, Juninho P. and Zola ...

I am particularly fond of Free Kicks from Recoba and Enrico Chiesa which are wicked curlers though they have less successes that the 3 above.

Beckham is better freekick taker than Alex thats right. But other than Juninho and Beckham I don't really see why Alex wouldn't be in the top 4 or 5 Freekick takers.
