I'm a better freekick taker than you, that makes me also better than Ibra.

Man, I can list a million football players and basketball players and tennis players and ballet dancers who are better freekick takers than Ibra.

I saw once a figure swimmer kick freekicks better than Ibra.

Del Piero is easily top 5 for free kicks atm. Ronaldhino?! He scores 1 for every 10 he misses, unlike Del Piero.

Over half of Del Piero's goal's thus far have come from set pieces. That speaks volumes.
I'd say one out two or three goes in or hits the bar when Ronaldinho takes a free kick. Del Piero can go months without scoring one, Ronny never does that. Saying Del Piero is better is looking back years and years.

Every time Ronny steps up I get that feeling "this can be it". I don't get that from ADP.

:agree:

Ronaldinho is everything, but not overrated.

The man is a magician when it comes to frekicks.

C the Chelsea/Barca match, both legs? He had numerous opportunities in both, especially at Nou camp, and none even came close.

1 in 3, ya right.

The fact that you picked such a recent event shows that you don't look very far back. The fact that you picked a CL game that he has played a lot of games since implies you dont follow him very closely. Do you only watch Barcelona in the Champions League? You can't judge such things based on one or two games.

Anyone who follows La Liga and Barca week in week out such would see what I see.

I once saw a guy in a French League, he was just preparing himself to shoot a penalty-kick.

Guess what he hit?

Who do you think is football's best free kick takers? To me to be the best is you have to score them consistently, and from what I've seen since I was a kid I think Juninho Pernambucano wins it by a mile, he has such a talent in Free Kicks, scoring loads and using every advantage on the pitch to score, he has scored so many beauties especially the one against Werder Bremen a few years back.

Also please don't mention players in the past, mention players who are currently playing football.

Del Piero is very good at them as well, but not as consistent in recent years.

For me:

1. Juninho Pernam - noone has been as consistent and accurate with freekicks as he has.

2. Alex Del Piero (Especially in Key-Moments) which is why hes here for me.

3. Wesley Sneijder - Great theqnique, and placement.
