I'm not saying dp_forever was wrong in giving the ratings for the match which we all didn't see. I'm saying that it felt cruel to me.
How can I judge whether those ratings are correct or not ?
Its sad for me....but I don't blame or point my finger to anyone.

It felt cruel ???

you should be grateful he went out of his way to give his opinion.

Are they correct... I saw the match and basically agree with his ratings though i would prob take 1 point off across the board except for tacchi who i would leave the same.

Why didnt i give a mcommentry as i watched it??

firstly why should people.. it does ruin the enjoyment of the game if your having to type.

Also from my own view... I used to commentate here most matches and virtually never received thanks other than a couple of people.... why bother!!

If it bothers you that much... get your hand in your pocket and pay for sky italia yourself like many of us do.

On the contrary, those newspaper ratings are very strict .. I mean they would only give an 8 if a player scored a hat-trick and had a perfect game !!

According to them:

'Zambrotta ate Cafu' and only got a 6.5 ??

'Legrottaglie took care of Pippo and Sheva, showed a good personality' deserves a 6.5?

'Appiah performed like a #10 player in attack and a #4 player in defence' and deserves a 7 ??

Please ...

Del Piero was all over the place .. he did some good moves and even defended back .. scored a nice goal, won 'Most Valuable Player' award and still gets critisized??

I don't get it !!
Corriere votes weare even lower than Gazzetta, but all >6 while Milan had many 5. So maybe the point is that we played average and they sucked ;)
Anycase is normal that the newspaper peaple have to be "objective" while fans are more enthusiastic when they win and pissed when they loose that's why sometimes we do not understand ratings.

no don't stop now.
if we don't see the games, we at least want to know what others who did see think about our performance... and your opinion is not biased :D
Is funny anyway to read at different opinion, never mind if sometimes they are different or even opposite of what media or somebody else think, is just normal... sometimes you find 2 points differece on a player rating also in different newspapers, so...

Yes, actually is impossible to tipe you commentary and really enjoy a match.
That's why I do not do the commentary also. The only time I do it like in friendly or coppa Italia match (of what I do not care too match) I realize that you loose many things...
