No Iran is the persian variation of Aryana.

In the Zorastrian holy book the Avesta the people are referred to as Aryans and mentions the Aryan nations. If im not mistaken this book was written before Persia (Pars) was even established as they are not mentioned as one of the Aryana nations.

Does this guy have any ability on the ball or will it be like seeing chiellini at LB?

A really fantastic CB who is defensively safe choice as fullback. Good rotation choice, defenitely better for us to have him option then what we currently do, so a bonus.

But the exaggerating excitement might fool some here who haven't seen him. He is more natural by playing there alot for NT, but he is still just a no nonsense CB playing out wide, he won't attack basically, more solid, so don't expect anything too decisive or new, besides strong defending.
