    Did you see the effort that keeper made, and he was STILL miles away from getting a finger to it!!

    People with American accents shouldn't comment football games...

    What's up with the goalie btw? Why does he go to his left side, when the ball is clearly going the other way? He should have saved it.

    haha! very true about american football commentators...I'm american, and even I can't stand them! I'd MUCH rather listen to portuguese or spanish commentary

    I'd agree with you except for the fact that I am most familiar with associating retards like Tommy Smyth as an Irish announcer, and his sometimes competent sidekick Derek Rae as a Scot. (But he's guilty by association.)

    I think the American accent here has a lot of potential to do more good than harm, given the damage done on ESPN from accents in the UK and Ireland. But that's assuming way too much. It's clear that American media has zero savviness in recognizing what it means to have a good footie announcer. So until then, I'll stick with Telemundo idiots I'm afraid ... at least they're entertaining.
