I think Camp Nou tops out at about 98,600. Their final home game against Villareal last season was at 98k, as was their Real Madrid home game.

Juve Beat Barça In Gamper Match
    8/25/2005 1:40:00 AM
Juventus beat Barcelona on penalties in the invitational Joan Gamper Trophy match in Camp Nou after the two giants drew 2-2.
Neither side started the match with full-strength sides, but there was still plenty of quality on display in their friendly encounter that came only days before the start of both the Spanish and Italian league seasons.

Leo Messi was outstanding throughout and deservedly won the player of the match award as he once again proved why is so highly regarded with a range of mazy runs and silky passes.

Juve took the lead after 11 minutes through Alessandro Del Piero and it was not until midway through the second period when the home side drew level through Andrés Iniesta.

Barcelona then took the lead when Gio Van Bronkhorst stole forward to net, but the Serie A sisde equalised in the 79th minute when David Trezeguet scored from the penalty spot.

The match then went to penalties to find a victor and Juve came out 4-2 winners after Samuel Eto'o and rafa Márquez failed to convert from 12 yards.

Barcelona: Valdés (Jorquera 46), Gabri (Belletti 75), Puyol, Oleguer (Edmílson 46), Van Bronckhorst, Márquez, Van Bommel, Iniesta (Eto’o 68), Leo Messi (Giuly 90), Ronaldinho (Deco 46), Larsson (Maxi López 86)

Juventus: Abbiati, Zebina (Balzaretti 46), Kovac, Cannavaro, Pessotto (Zalayeta 87), Camoranesi (Olivera 80), Vieira, Giannichedda, Chiellini (Blasi 46), Del Piero (Mutu 46), Ibrahimovic (Trezeguet 46)

Then no way that attendance was 92k...unless maybe a lot of them didn't stay for the cups ceremony. Oh what the hell...why am I arguing...Delle Alpi attendance is pathetic and that's that.:groan:

What a crappy game by Juve!!!
Juve played like amateurs in the second half.

This proves that when you play without creative players and trying to defend yourself it doesn’t work.
I was embarrassed by the “vecchia signora”.

The only players that I would give cred for an ok game is: Zlatan, DP and Cammo.

If were going to play with Trez at all we need more people in the offence.
It would be a dream to have DP as trequartista!
We lack a midfielder with creative central skill. That has the effect that the space between midfield and attackers is way to long. So we only attack with 2-3 or 4 players.

In first half we played gr8 and the game was 50/50.
In second we did not have the ball and did not attack at all!
Mutu did not do himself justice, but on the other hand he did not have any help.

    Trez touched the ball once!!!???!!
How much space does he create for the others? NONE!

Messi, Iniesta, Ronaldihno and Deco outplayed us.
And if you start talking about that we actually won the game I will personally come and bash your heads in!

Zlatan and DP worked good together and without Zlatan we would not have 50% of the force we have today.
Always 2-3 defenders on him makes oceans of space for in this case DP.

DP is lacking confidence and missed some opportunities but did ok overall and worked hard.
Cammo is all over the place and was the man of the match in Juve.

    Zebina is just…, well…, Zebina…

Giannichedda was played with as a junior.
Viera were ok in defense but did almost nothing god offensive.
In second half we played with Oliviera…, WHY???
He´s the worst player I´ve ever seen in the black and white jersey.

    So for all you fans.
We do need more people up front!
If were about to be able to do anything in the champions League we need more creativity in the midfield!

Look! Against Inter we played very well and we didn't win.. Now we didn't but we won!

We have a very good team I think, especially against Inter Juve showed a spectacular play!

    Very well?

In this match we did not have 1 shot on goal in the second half!!!!!
    Seriosly!
And if you´re about to play 6 matches in the group than the finals (i´m talking about the champions League) that wont be good enough.

Yes, i agree we have a very good team but now is the time to play as one as well...

And didn't we bottom out at under 8,000 for Tel Aviv M. last season?
I think we didn't een reach 7000. Well with such a pathetic attendance for a top team in the European CL, I didn't even want to include the attendance in the Ajax game as well, which is < 7000

    Forget Emo-Vieira, We've Got Gianni-Vieira!!!
More like Gianni - Emo please.

Anyway i've always said Giannichedda is a great purchase. I'd like to see Capello play him as cb too, as Capello will certainly go for Emo-Vieira.
