Luca Banti has been confirmed as the referee for Saturday night’s 8.45pm kick-off between Pescara and Juventus.
The official will take charge of Antonio Conte’s men for the first time this season.
In the 2011/12 campaign he oversaw the Bianconeri’s 1-1 championship draw against Bologna and 3-0 Coppa Italia victory over Roma.
Juventus’ overall record with Banti in the middle reads as follows: nine wins, two draws and two defeats.
Banti will be assisted at the Stadio Adriatico by Pietro Gallioni and Alessandro Giallatini. Francesco Altomare has been named as the fourth official.
