Balzaretti books Fiorentina date

Fiorentina have a three-year contract ready to be signed by want-away Juventus defender Federico Balzaretti.

The former Torino man had made it clear he was eager to complete the move after the Bianconeri told him that his services were no longer required.

“If Juve don’t want me anymore, then Florence would be an ideal destination. I would gladly accept the Viola jersey,” he said last week.

Now ‘Fiorentina.it’ suggest that negotiations have advanced to such a stage that a three-year contract with the option for a fourth has already been printed and is waiting for the signature.

The transfer could be completed as early as the middle of next week.

The 25-year-old joined Juve from Torino in 2005 following the Granata’s bankruptcy and has scored two goals in 36 appearances in Serie B this season.

Juventus are completely renovating their defence over the summer, as Robert Kovac is set for Dynamo Zagreb.

I don't think Inzaghi deserves to be with those.

I am not believing it until its official. Cause its just not believable that this management would do that.

the offer is a joke
the player is over average
his behavior is good
his wages aren't any high
his age is great
he is loyal
he rarely makes errors
he wants to stay

it is indeed unbelievable

Guys, lets be honest, Balzaretti is a nice guy. A very nice guy. But his technical abbility is below average. There are better players than Balza.

I wish him all the best!
