Contrariamente a quanto riportavano le ultime voci non è previsto l'arrivo di Federico Balzaretti a Firenze nelle prossime ore. Sulla strada per il capoluogo toscano ci sono solo Giuseppe e Marcello Bonetto i due procuratori del giocatore che stanno arrivando sulle rive dell'Arno per mettere nero su bianco gli ultimi dettagli del contratto.

Possibile quindi che la firma in calce al contratto di Balzaretti (per Semioli sembra che ci sia da attendere ancora, anche se non sono escluse sorprese) venga apposta già oggi. Di fatto quella per Balzaretti alla Fiorentina è una trattativa virtualmente conclusa da molti giorni. L'accordo tra Juve e Fiorentina, sulla base di circa 3,5 milioni, c'è da tempo, manca quello per lo stipendio del giocatore, esattamente ciò che sono venuti a trattare a Firenze i suoi procuratori, nell'ambiente Viola circola una battuta, attribuita a Corvino, del tipo: " se mi chiedono troppo... li faccio tornare tra una settimana". Non sappiamo se sia vera, ma è certamente calzante al personaggio.
