Plot Twist: he banged himself up in the back of the police van according to the other criminal locked up in the back.
Will be curious to see how accurate it is and if it is accurate how downplayed the media will make it. Sounds like another Trayvon/Brown scenario where people overreacted before the facts were made clear.

As I mentioned yesterday on this topic, my jury duty last month dealt with an unarmed black kid and a Latino cop where the kid bashed himself all over the van and inside the van, bit and spit blood to avoid being seatbelted, etc.
The difference was that my case wasn't about police brutality as it was the technicalities of what constitutes resisting arrest charges. But the stories are sounding eerily similar based on that article.
