any comments on this juve 'fan news' ?

http://bianconeri.tripod.com/

i for one do NOT agree. There's a big difference between being Juve fan and being arrogant ! It's not because we're used to one scudetto a year that we should put up such a big mouth right now. It's not because we're used to one scudetto a year that we should complain about losing 2 games in serie b. It's not because we're used to one scudetto a year that we should demand winning the scudetto again on our immediate come-back in A. We were giants, have been hit in the back and now we'll heal our wounds ... so be it. Get yourself in this new context, or else live in the past ! FFS I have 10 000x more respect for fans of 'fallen giant' Napoli than for these (pretending to be) juventus fans.

Disagree with amateurism of the Juve board ... ok

Serie B is no picnic. It's tough and grueling... as Balzaretti knows all too well when your competition puts so many people behind the ball. That in itself is quite an accomplishment.

Look how many years it took Milan to climb back into A in the 1980s after their demotion. And even then, they had a newfound sugar daddy in Berlusconi's millions to help them climb out of it.

This is a great occasion and must be celebrated.

I am highly suspicious of that website's claims, and many seem to take it for granted. I mean up to the last home match there was def more than 5000 in the Olimpico. I would take that report with a grain of salt.

I would too. As I mentioned in another thread around here, I was watching coverage on RAI International from last night on their news program Tg2. Sure enough, they had a spot showing the fans in downtown Torino celebrating with flags, honking horns in a parade of cars down the Via Roma, etc.

I counted at least 40 cars on Via Roma with flags and people with jerseys hanging out of them. So saying just 40 people just showed up seems really misleading.

It was no big festival like we saw for Scudetto victories. But there was clearly a turnout.
