I have to say if we are really targetting Chiesa and Barella then we're quite stupid. Both are overrated and way out of their depth at this level. Chiesa is just a better looking Simone Pepe ffs.
I totally agree about Chiesa. I don't get the fascination around him

This Italian side is pathetic. I don't know where to begin but there's still no clear game plan in the attack, no link-up in midfield and on top both FB's are absolutely shit. I fail to see how Mancini has improved the NT. In my books, he has been always an awful coach but he's also too stubborn to change a game.

That's really not true, I think the Azzurri are playing decent football lately, but it takes a lot of effort for them to come up with opportunities to score and they fail them either way. They remind me of Milan. The truth is their front line is completely mediocre which is what makes their lives difficult.

Their midfield is actually quite good. Very solid defence, just nothing in attack. Insigne and Immobile are just not cut out for football at this level, Serie A heroes but that’s it. Don’t get the criticism of Chiesa, looks like the only player they have upfront with a bit of talent and skill. The biggest weakness by far is a lack of a proper number 9, imagine what a Mandzukic type striker would do for them.

They need good wingers as well, Chiesa and to a smaller extent Insigne are mediocre
