I dont know anyone who knows anything about football who rates Mancini.

For his CL record (terrible record) he might be disaster for Italy, yeah he might qualify but then fuck up in the tournament.

Better than Prandelli and miles better than Ventura at the least is what I'm assuming. Hopefully something respectable will be achieved again finally.

Ok maybe not. But Prandelli won a group with Fiorentina (group which had Benitez Liverpool and Lyon in it) and lost to Bayern on some bs ref game on away goals (4-4), even Van Gaal (Bayern coach at the time) admitted that Bayern scored from offside. Also Fiorentina played with 10 men in one of the games.

Meanwhile Mancini with Man City failed to advance to CL knockouts. I know he managed some first rounds with Inter in the mid 00s but always lost first round then (Villarreal, Valencia, Pool).

But Mancini was managing Galamugs when they kicked us out Conte final season.
