Ogbonna

what a walking talking turd I hope a seagull shits on his wig

No Berardi? Are you cunt for real? Leaving your biggest talent at home?

No Giovinco? Disregarding the league, this fucker is in some form.

I hope the seagull eats some laxatives

GKs: Buffon, Sirigu, Marchetti

Defenders: Antonelli, Astori, Tonelli, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Darmian

Midfielders: Candreva, De Rossi, El Shaarawy, Florenzi, Giaccherini, Jorginho, Thiago Motta, Parolo

Forwards: Eder, Pavoletti, Pelle, Insigne, Zaza

The 23-man team I'd like to see once the Juve, Milan, PSG, Man Utd players are available.

Then either go 4-4-2: Buffon; Darmian, Bonucci, Chiellini, Antonelli; Candreva, De Rossi, Parolo, El Shaarawy; Insigne, Pelle

or 3-5-2: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Darmian, De Rossi, Jorginho, Motta, Giaccherini; Insigne, Pelle

Just my thoughts as of now...who knows what stubborn Conte will end up picking.

Juventus refuse to let defender join Italy training camp
Italy coach Antonio Conte has in the past stated his frustration at clubs not allowing their players to join Azzurri training camps

Both sides are acting stupid. I don't understand why this training camp is happening in the first place (30 players of whom something like 15 will be cut? Wtf?), but it seems like we're holding on to Bonucci just so he can celebrate with us.

It makes sense that Bonucci stays with the squad until the final coppa match is over.

There is only one side acting stupid.

not that i rate gio, but look at his competition...immobile...eder...it's stupid to not call him up.
There's more deserving players actually performing in European leagues that Conte didn't call up. Saponara, Berardi, Vasquez, Sansone. Giovinco trashing MLS shouldn't count for anything compared to what those four have been doing. We all saw what he did at Juve when thrown into the deep end, as he could be fairly ineffective.

we played him as a striker in a 352...like Coman...Conte even played him as first striker

but yeah, i agree he isn't good enough for a top team, but Gio would still be great/the best player for a midtable Serie-A team and is at least twice the player Giaccherini is.

but why even argue about a stubborn donkey like Conte and his player selection...

Motta should absolutely start for Italy, now that Verratti and Marchisio are out.
:agree: he should and he will start.

but who's gonna be the second, and maybe even third CM?

Soriano? maybe Bonaventura? it has to be a quick player imo. Motta is still great as holding mid, just don't partner him with another slow bloke like Montolivo or Parolo.

Motta
De Rossi-----Jorginho

If not De Rossi, then Florenzi absolutely.Jorginho had a great season so i would assume Conte will start him.
