Italy better hope that guys like Rugani, Berardi, Bernardeschi, Sturaro, etc... mature in time for Euro 2016. Is Babacar eligible for Italy?

Having to rely on guys like Pelle, Giovinco, and Immobile in attack should cause terminal depression to any Azzurri fan.

Conte is a stubborn cunt. He is a mule who refuses to adjust and adapt. He truly believes that teamwork and hard work will win you games. That may be true, but without talent, you might win a few games, just not the championship.

Croatia will be a real test for Conte.
Bring it on. Slim chances for Italy to get a good result here. Croatia is a big tournament flop, but when it comes to qualifying games we've been among the best Euro teams in the last decade. Hoping for a good game between my teams.

14/06/2012 Italy - Croatia 1: 1
08.06.2002 Italy - Croatia 1:2
28.04.1999 Croatia - Italy 0:0
08.10.1995 Croatia - Italy 1: 1
16.11.1994 Italy - Croatia 1: 2
04/05/1942 Italy - Croatia 4:0
:shocked::irritated
Always special occasion when these two sides meet as we have lot of background, among other things we formed infamous alliance with them during the WWII, therefore our first game probably had some friendly connotation. Our largest peninsula Istria is bilingual with plenty of Italians living there, might get a little messy in some parts on both sides of the border.

arent you afraid of your "Balkan mentality"? you know, 2nd place also qualifies you directly and you guys might enter those games not 100% focused :boh:

The Pirlo of 2 years go, yes.

Now, no. Pirlo has declined a lot, he's much slower (even though he has always been slow) and easier to deal with.
How has Pirlo declined a lot? He is still the best player in the world in his position.

It's funny when a player gets injured and doesn't play for a while and everyone forgets how good they are.

"Destroy italy" lol. Italy haven't lost a qualifier in 8 years and have never lost at the San Siro. I predict a narrow win or draw in the next game.
Perhaps the word destroy is excessive, but Italy have been far from convincing against the Mighty Maltese and Astonishing Azeris (who were comprehensively dismantled by the Croats). The squad lacks quality, and hard work can only get you so far.

There is a first time for everything, and I don't see Italy getting more than a point in the direct encounters against Croatia (Italy have struggled against Croatia as their record suggests).

Italy are poop at qualifiers, but they always tend to win the group.

Euro 2000 Q - Italy 1-1 Belarus, Italy 2-3 Denmark, Belarus 0-0 Italy FINALISTS
WC 2002 Q - Hungary 2-2 Italy, Lithuania 0-0 Italy
Euro 2004 Q - Wales 2-1 Italy
WC 2006 Q - Scotland 1-1 Italy, Norway 0-0 Italy, Moldova 0-1 Italy, Italy 2-1 Moldova, Italy 1-0 Slovenia, Italy 3-2 Belarus WINNERS
Euro 2008 Q - Italy 1-1 Lithuania
WC 2010 Q - Italy 3-2 Cyprus, Italy 1-1 Ireland, Cyprus 1-2 Italy, Ireland 2-2 Italy
Euro 2012 Q - Faroes 0-1 Italy, Estonia 1-2 Italy, Italy 1-0 Slovenia, Northern Ireland 0-0 Italy FINALISTS
WC 2014 Q - Italy 2-2 Armenia, Bulgaria 2-2 Italy

Just look at that complete garbage.

Screw you!

Gli Azzurri can play there, and the FIGC can only owe us €442m.
€433m or nothing!
