That's Juve's defense minus Bonucci who is the weak link IMO and with 2 young LBs I don't think its a bad defense. With DeRossi also falling back it could be good.... Now we have an interesting midfield if Pirlo and Veratti play together.... This could become very fun with both of them launching Balotelli, Insigne and Immobile for couter attacks.

It's not that Prandelli couldn't find space for him. If he was able to play 100% and Prandelli knew that, he would make room for him. I don't think bringing Bonucci and Aquilani took any space away from Rossi anyways. If Rossi was healthy, Insigne would have been going home.

Also Immobile is Italy's current best striker.
