Buffon
Barzagli – DDR – Ogbonna (Bonucci)
Maggio – Noce – Pirlo – Marchi – Balza (Motta)
Cassano (Giovinco)
Balotelli (Toto)
tought I'd leave here some thoughts about the game. That XI would be the best way to play England, in my opinion. Nocerino is technically more gifted than Motta which is a plus against an opposition like England and Ogbonna would be the wild card. I think he is more suited to Chiellini's role and the english style of play than Bonucci and, you know, these competitions are won by taking such risks. They will try to sit back and hit on the counter most probably so I'd go with a stable 3CB formation to counter their tactics as well as a Balotelli instead of a Di Natale because their dline will be deep, not allowing Natale to do his runs behind the defence. Balotelli would be more useful in this case as he can drag them down and open up space for his teammates (mainly Marchisio). Plus, 3-5-2 will prevent the english from double marking Pirlo, as De Rossi would be a viable option to start the build up of the team.
Forza the Juve boys, I really want them in the final. Though I hope not to cheer for them by that time.
