Apart from Cassano and Balzaretti (well Buffon's save was awesome too) no one showed any class or whatsoever.
that seems to be what prandelli is aiming for, a true workman like Italy without the real fancy world class num 10, a team that will work for each other, although it didn't really show tonight, but it is clear that since the start of his reign that prandelli wants to create a far less predictable Italy side with different variables of attack

Prandelli is doing a good job with his team so far. Yesterday I saw the players playing an atypical game for Italians and the accent was on fast movement of the ball, one touch football, which I haven't seen at all from Italy in my lifetime. Not many, if any, of the players are playing this kind of football in their clubs so that makes Prandelli's achievement in so little time even bigger and deserves respect. The players still need time to get used to Prandelli's ideas and demands but if they continue this way, even with the obvious lack of super talents, Italy will be back on the map and re-enter the top 6-7 of world's best NTs.
