This will get Andy really worked up haha. But apparently the voting for Euro 2012 was rigged in favour of Poland/Ukraine. And the guy making the claims is Cypriot, not Italian.
People kind of knew that. There has been a lot of problems with construction and they were already talking about corruption a couple a years ago.
But now there is actually a guy who stand's up and have some proof (maybe).

I'm Australian (born here) but I have Italian born parents. I support both NT's but a lot of people cant get that.

And just for clarification, I was supporting Australia when they played Italy in 2006. But I had no probs cheering the Azzurri on the rest of the tournament.
My father comes from Sicily and my mother is half Danish half Swedish. But I have no feeling's for Sweden what so ever. When it comes to football, I love the Italian NT, but I have lost the passion for the Danish.

But that is only in football. I've heard so much shit about Italian football over the past years, that my relationship to the Danish NT is zero. The media hates Italian football and they know nothing about it (they still think Juve paid of the ref's).
Last time I had passion for the Danish NT was in 1998.

Marangos is probably an Italy fanboy, case closed.

I do have to chuckle at the reasons for not giving it to Italy and to Ukraine and Poland instead as 'hooliganism'. LOL.

If there is proof, then Italy should be rewarded the games.
I doubt the Euro will be taken away from Poland and Ukraine, even if proof is given that they bought the organization.
And even if it's taken away, it will be given to Germany or England, because they actually have the stadiums. Italy doesn't.

Yep, because of time spent already......if they had originally given it, no problem. It would have directly benefitted Juve too.

That's what I meant. No time to fix things now.
Shame because this would have been a perfect opportunity to live the Euro from its start till the end. Italy is very close and I'd have had where to stay and people to arrange tickets for me :wallbang:

Stupid bad luck. At the first voting the Italians had most votes with Croatia/Hungary following second. The Poles and the Ukrainians were 3rd placed with less votes than both Croatia and Italy. But nooooooo, they had to give it to those countries.

I think Italy should get to host the Euro and Poland & The Ukraine should be awarded the Mercenary Cup 2012 -- featuring Giuseppe Rossi, Ozil, Janet, and every other national turncoat. :pado:
