He's ok, just like Pessina - I wouldnt mind having them as rotational options, but he's probably not starter level long term.

I like Pellegrini whenever I watch him, too bad he's a committed romanista
Pellegrini is fantastic but Mancini plays him on the wing for the NT too much.

He looks so much better in central or attacking midfield.

Italy have played well. If they trusted a lot of these players more in qualifying they would have made the World Cup.

Frattesi has been impressive. He'd definitely add something to our midfield. Locatelli the standout player for me. Stopped a huge chance for Abraham and looked to get the ball forward.

Gatti hasn't really been tested but looks comfortable on the ball. He possibly could have done better on the Mount chance that hit the bar but would need to see it again.

Still not convinced on Scamacca.

I agree with Pellegrini.

Frattessi is an engine (a la Barella/Vidal), he isn't as clinical as Both, but his first touch is wat better. Today he controlled 4 or 5 times a pass from 20/30+ meters and handles it perfectly. He does need to work on his finishing to become Barella/Vidal level.

100%

If Italy could ever find/develop a Vieri or even an Inzaghi style finisher they’d be one of the best teams in the world.

Azzurris squad lacks balance, they have a lot of very good depth in CM and CBs, but the wide positions with both Spina and Chiesa out dont really have good alternatives. Same with CF, as soon as Immobile lost all confidence in Euros (again), they lost their only good CF
