That's because East Virginia is under water, duh.

All that shit happened last night was staged. I mean like a 9/11.
How the hell they managed to carry in klešta?(i dont know how to translate "klešta" in english).
These Italians knew what we carring and didnt do nothing. They knew that we would fucked up things and get baned.
No Serbia, no danger to group.
Todd & Timmy knew they would lose their severed heads, but they allowed it to happen anyway since they both hate turtleneck sweaters.

“Entrance into the stadium was a critical moment for various reasons,” explained Roberto Masucci, spokesman for the government taskforce on sport-related security.

“The checks were dropped in favour of letting the Serbian fans into the stadium, therefore avoiding further damage around the city of Genoa.

“There had already been rioting in the streets and the stadium is in an unfortunate position, right in the centre of the city, so we were unable to set aside a filter zone to check each person individually.

“One must also consider the criminal determination these fans had in seeing through their pre-meditated plan.”

So they let them into the stadium knowing that there was a major risk the match would be abandoned. WOW! I'm shocked they'd actually do that.

The game should be replayed. Serbian fans should be banned from away games and all of their home matches played on neutral ground. Whoever is responsible for the negligent security in Italy whether it is the police, stadium security or the FIGC should be punished adequately.

Neither team should lose points and the remaining qualifying matches should go on.

What else were they to do? Let them wreck the city?

The police's primary job is the safety of the public, not making sure a game is played.

I don't think the police reacted too badly. The problem, as far as I can see, was the lack of planning a communication between the Italian and Serbian authorities.

Of course, in my quest for East Virginia info, I came across this Uncyclopedia entry:

http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Maryland

:lol2:

Latin Motto: "Fatti maschii, parole femine" ("Fatty men, paroled women")
Nickname: Virginia's very sexy (and heroin-addicted) hat
Currency: U.S. Dollar, Crabs
Principal Imports: Democrats
Principal Exports: Crab People, Crabs, Oysters, Republicans
Profiled on South Park, the "Crab People" are a threatened species, driven to the brink of extinction by virtue of their native habitat, which is surrounded by horrible drivers (even worse than Marylanders) and yokels on every side. Virginia, in particular, is a fearsome predator, with armies of soccer moms on cell phones causing an average of 1,200 deaths a day. The Marylanders that can escape the roadway wrath of Virginia (in retribution for the possessed Maryland drivers on the wrong side of the Potomac) often times find themselves buried in one of D.C.'s many man-eating pot-holes. Marylanders often try to migrate north, but can rarely survive the harsh redneck climates and steel fires found in Pennsylvania. If somehow they manage to avoid all these traumas, they stand an almost 100% chance of being slaughtered on the roadways of New Jersey. Ther's a lot of black and Asian people.

It was voted on, Columbia, Kanawha, Alleghany, Augusta, New Virginia, and Western Virginia were also considered.

Italy should play on neutral fields, playing on these things is really "home cooking":

Wreck the stadium, or wreck the city. Protect the citizens outside the stadium, or protect the citizens inside the stadium. What's the difference? And once the match is over, where do you think the fans are going to go? Fly away in a fucking UFO?

Just another case of officialdom trying to put bandages on bullet wounds. It's only embarrassing to Italian authorities.

It's not a crazy strategy. At lot easier to contain a mob in a plexiglass box than letting them roam all the streets at random.
But you are taking already agitated people and putting them into an even more tense setting. Its just going to make them more violent.

Putting a group of people in a small area makes them much easier to police than having them running around the streets around a stadium.

The other people in the stadium were kept a distance away from the Serbs, so were not in the danger they would have been with people running free outside the ground.

Once the game is over, the Serbs could be held in the ground until the surrounding streets were cleared and the police could increase their numbers in order to control the removal of them from the area.

I don't see how you can comment on this when you have no experience of attending games in Europe or how policing of away fans is done.

Just another case of officialdom trying to put bandages on bullet wounds. It's only embarrassing to Italian authorities.
I don't see what else the Italians could do without prior knowledge of the planned trouble.

If they knew there was going to be trouble, they should have been better prepared.

I think citizens saftey would take precedent over a game.
Don't be reasonable, this was all a big plot to give Italy a default win.
Don't mention the fact that the Serbian police are probably in bed with these gangsters and would give them a free passage into Italy :howler:
