Did you know that German MTV has banned the Crazy Frog commercials. Apparantly so many viewers changed channel during that commercial that other advertisers started to protest!
Very true. Ringtone ads in general are having that effect. Advertisers are getting pretty irritated about it. Hopefully, people switching channel when they come on could actually get rid of the damned things - people power!!

Oh my god, does that frog have a *****?
Yeah, and I doubt he has much succes with the lady frogs...

Some history about the Crazy Frog:

Swedish 15 year old Daniel Malmedahl could never have expected that his impression of a motorcycle would become the most popular ringtone in history.

When animation artist Erik Wernquist found the sound while searching the internet he instantly created the now famous frog, and called it 'the annoying thing'. Ringtone company Jamster (known as Jamba in some countries) bought the rights from Wenquist and renamed it to Crazy Frog.

Jamster refuses to release figures on the ringtone, but sales are estimated to be above 800,000 in Holland alone.
