I've been watching it. Nieminen lost to Safin

So I'll turn my eyes on ladies matches from now on, the bad thing is that Dementieva is out also

So I guess I'll root for Krasnoroutskaya then..

I was thinking of going over to watch some matches with a couple of friends, but couldn't afford it

Checked those draws who are through and who aren't. Marat's sis is also through... drawn against Clijsters. Lina got some unseeded 16 year old french girl, so she's got good change to get to next round, only to meet Venus, damn. Hopefully ladies final don't end up being all-belgian, anything else please.

Oh yeah, forgot to add that blokes side, Federer the one I'm rooting for. And his (hopefully) upcoming semi-final opponent Ferrero.

i am all for Juan Carlos Ferrero.
a fan since French Open semifinals where he lost to Gustavo Kuerten ... TWICE.

hmmm.
I don't follow the women's tennis much now, since Martina Hingis sort of 'retired', she was my favourite. Now it's justine henin hardenne I follow. But is she in the Aussie tournie? I don't think so :undecide:

I wouldn't mind if Safina loses, because H-H is someone I don't want to win the tournament and Clijsters would have a good change to deny that. Though Mauresmo seems to be playing her best tennis yet in her career.

This is the most realistic pick, I hope too that Kim gets her first grand slam. There's now actually Schnyder and that 16 year old Golovin who gets some sympathy from me, so it's Kim.

And lads, that Agassi - Federer match seems to be the final. I'd want to see Safin - Federer one though. Go Federer!
