yes, @adRHCP wanted him too

Saponara and Pereyra at AM would look good, Soriano would more be a option on the bench to rotate with the CMs and an emergency AM in case Saponara and Pereyra are unavailable. for some low fee, he could be an useful rotation player
We were right all along :touched:

Alex Texeira wh0red himself to Chelsea and is probably mainly interested in the higher salary Chelsea has offered/would offer. I've no naive dreams of signing him, but what's his current market value in today's going rate? 40m?

Thinking Saponara would start for us and can solve our attacking issues and that he or Empoli want this transfer to happen in January are funnier than the posts suggesting Berardi is good enough to start for us next season.

What a team does in preseason usually affects the team throughout the season. So, there's a decent chance that injuries, borne out of our awful preseason schedule, will persist in the second half of the season. Soriano can be helpful as a loan (with no obligation to purchase) signing, but I wouldn't sign him permanently because he'd be a backup we don't need next season. I don't see any big potential in him. Marotta usually doesn't mind spending 12m on backup caliber players. We've 24m left in the coffers to spend on transfers and salary this season.

PSV stole him last year from Roma. Roma was furious about it, he was one of their best youthplayers. 16 year old Italian, 1.96m. He is scoring for fun by PSV. We need to keep an eye on him, really good prospect.

Distance shots, bicycle kicks, next Ibra :tuttosport:
looks a tad slow... but definitely got the skills.

good ball dominion and shot

I do not think sampdoria has intention to just loan him.

I do not think sampdoria has intention to just loan him.
Why?

I don't think so either if 12m is still his buyout clause like some rumors are still stating. However, according to Transfermarkt, Soriano extended his contract in Sept 2015. I doubt if 12m is still his transfer clause (if there was one to begin with like reports in summer suggested). In that case, if Samp is willing to let him go, a loan deal isn't impossible. Loan deals with options/clauses just cost more, and Soriano isn't worth a Pereyra price. From Samp's POV, it makes sense for them to ensure safety and make any deal in summer.

Seems like we're closing in on Internacional keeper Allison. @DAiDEViL
Italian champions Juventus are preparing an eight million-euro bid for Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson, the Internacional player's agent has confirmed.

The Turin club views Alisson as a potential successor to veteran captain Gianluigi Buffon. Alisson's agent, Ze Maria on Wednesday confirmed that Juventus have made an official approach for the 23-year-old, reports Xinhua.

"Juventus are one of the clubs that made an enquiry to me, among many others, but nothing concrete," Ze Maria said. "Eight million euros is good value. Alisson has attracted global interest. But we want a sports project, not just money."

Allison, who has also been linked to another Italian outfit AS Roma, is currently Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper, having made his international debut in the Selecao's 3-1 victory over Venezuela in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in October.
