We don't need Soriano now, but actually he may be useful on june, if he comes for the right price. Too many CMs not trustable on health, Hernanes useless.
The direction the squad is taking is with 4312 primarily, 352 secondary. Marotta cut the possitility of a 433 when he let Coman go. And Dybala doesn't really fit a winger based scheme, unless he's the CF - and you can't do it having Mandzukic and Morata.
So to me wingers are discarted for the future, mainly because Dybala must be used at his best position - SS.
Next summer Marotta has to trim the squad and absolutely focus on an AM. Then if there's something left, spend on a rotation CM (Soriano for 12M sounds ok), getting Berardi (will cost around 30M), and a right back who can provide something as close as possible to Alex Sandro.
Let Cuadrado go.
Buffon / Licht - Barzagli - Bonucci - Sandro / Marchisio - Pogba - Khedira(Soriano) / AM / Dybala - Morata
bench: Neto, RB, Rugani, Chiellini, Evra / Lemina, Soriano(Khedira), Sturaro, Pereyra / Berardi, Mandzukic
In: capable AM (30M), Soriano (12M), capable RB (12M), Berardi (30M) = 84M
Out: Caceres (peanuts), Padoin (free), Hernanes (free loan), Asamoah (if he can't play this season - loan), Zaza (14M)
Net spend: 70M
