Juventus are working to reach an agreement with Empoli to sign Riccardo Saponara in January. [Corsport]

Berardi, Saponara, Vrsaljko, and some 5 new players.

Money well spent :beppe:
:tuttosport: Hell yes. Then a 4-3-1-2 with Morata and Dybala up front, I would imagine? But then what about Cuadrado, use him as a ss?

The truth is 3-5-2 with Cuadrado on the wing and Sandro when he will become better suited is the best formation for us we just need a good forward Saponara will solve nothing IMO

I can't help to notice that so far our best new signings are the one we have paid anything. Khedira for free, and Cuadrado on a free loan . Neto being brought as second choice to Buffon is fine as well. Then we got Lemina, Mandzukic,Zaza,Dybala,Hernanes,Sandro and poor Rugani can't even get some game time.

And we got a decision to make, to pay for Cuadrado and Lemina or not, and if we want to sign Berardi back.

No Pirlo no Tevez no vidal no 3-5-2. We will neither be creative nor a goal scoring threat from attack nor from midfield.

Wingbacks stretch the opposition defense leaving Tevez to drag a central defenders after him and the other to wrestle with llorente. A stretched defense that busy marking Tevez and wrestling llorente leaves plenty of space for pirlo to pick his passes, for vidal/marchisio to make runs behind the defense to catch pirlo's passes and for Pogba to shoot or dribble and shoot from distance. We didn't even need WBs that can actually attack, we just needed ones that can run all game, defend properly and hug the touchline when attacking.

Pogba is the only goal scoring threat we have in midfield now, marchisio can distribute but cant exactly launch incisive passes like Pirlo and Khedira is not half the goal scorer vidal was. Dybala is not half the nuisance Tevez was.

3-5-2 without a super creative regista, an annoying SS and a goal scoring box to box CM is a bad idea. The CMs are everything in a 3-5-2.. thats how we managed with vucinic and matri

i think paying for Cuadrado, Lemina, Berardi, getting a RB in January and not really having any holes in the team to fill will cause us to not make any major signings in the summer (if no one important leaves). replacements for Evra and Barzagli if they leave, keeping Morata or finding a replacement for him if he goes and maybe catch some freebie. that would be it

it is if you consider their values.

ozil = 40 m

Zaza =18 million.

18 million(zaza) + 1.4 million = 40 million

fair value i think. maybe add a million or two on top of cash to pay for ozil
better increase it to 1.7M and try get Sanchez in that case

Actually Khedira Marchisio Pogba trio arent that bad but I agree we need another great CM
As for how we played - I know exactly how we played...

Lemina is good defensively but I dont think he is that great offensively therefore I would skip on him Rugani is unfortunate as he didnt get a playing time but he might get some soon
Pay for Cuadrado? Honestly I dont know! He is a good player but also a one dimensional one!
As for Berardi - This guy is extremely talented and if we intend to use the 4-3-3 or any other wingers formation we should definitely get him and even if we intend of using him as a support striker I`d still get him as he is a very interesting player!

Our most important upgrades should be 1. find a great forward or make Dybala work! 2. a WC midfielder! and then we could talk of another midfielder/a defender

As someone mentioned Benatia - He is a great defender and I would definitely get him if the price is right but right now there are other positions which are more of a priority!

I`d love us to get Ozil but the best we could get is Vazquez - Actually he is a guy that really interest me I think he will do well here will be the type of AM we were looking for but do we want to revert to 4-3-1-2? If we do we need to make some tough decisions like not signing Cuadrado as he has no place in the 4-3-1-2 formation
