Baselli? Doesn't make much sense to buy unproven 23 year old when you already have two unproven 22 year old players. Our players are probably more proven than him anyways, since they have been playing for bigger clubs already.

Although 4 goals in 4 official matches for Torino is pretty good record.

Buy Berardi, Insigne & Baselli

ItaJuve

Insigne - Dybala - Berardi
Pogba - Marchisio - Baselli
Alex Sandro - Chiello - Bonucci - Lichtsteiner
Buffon
What is ur obsession with Italian players? We buy them when they are good. Outside of Verrati and Berardi, the current batch are absolute shit. It speaks volumes that guys like Pelle, Zaza, and Immobile are being considered for a starting position in the Azzurri.

If you are talking about next season there is a minor issue called no real forward! We need someone such as Morata or Cavani someone who can make the runs and help the team but also we can rely on to score goals
Aside from that Pogba is definitely leaving next summer
Aside from that I dont think Insigne will leave Napoli in the near future

The 433 and Berardi coming next year. :tuttosport:
Not even winter and already talking about next year?!

ok
You want 4-3-3
Dybala/Cuadrado - Morata - Berardi/Cuadrado
Hamsik - Marchisio - Verratti
Alex Sandro - Chiellini - Bonucci - Lichtsteiner
Buffon

20M Berardi 20M Cuadrado 25M Hamsik Verratti 60M = Total of 125M
Pogba = 100M
Total spent 25M which we can finance or we could also sell Zaza to fund some of it
Hamsik will be our kind of Vidal with better offense but not as good defense (although not bad) Verratti will be our Pirlo Marchisio is not Pogba but he isnt bad himself
Berardi to create havoc on the right Cuadrado or Dybala (depends on Dybala`s progress) will create havoc on the left and Morata can do his magic in the center

We can also revert to the 4-3-1-2 which means we can skip on Cuadrado use Berardi as a Support Striker in case Dybala doesnt make it he will be out if he does we will have a rich men`s problem!
Hamsik could play CM with Saponara as AM he seems to be creating and scoring afterall...

Yup, it's the worst Italian generation I have ever seen. Even Stefano Fiore would be a gem nowadays.

Limiting yourself to one pool of players in an entire World just 'cause is fucking stupid to say the least.

In real life terms, would you pay a lot more money for a piece of shit car because it's made locally or save money and get a much better car in every way? Like fuck would you go for the local car out of some misplaced sense of national pride.

The current crop of Italian attackers is nothing short of pathetic, there's a handful of strikers in Argentina alone that will probably outscore the top 4 Italian strikers alone as an individual. Our defence is Italian, our main midfielder is Italian and if Berardi keeps progressing one of our attackers will be Italian. That's more than enough to cater to any ItalJuve fetishists out there.

Overall the Azzuri can create a formidable team. There is no doubt that on paper this generation doesnt compare to the one that had DP,Inzaghi,Toni, Vieri and young Cassano and Gilardino to pick from. I dont think any squad in the world ever had that much great attackers as that generation of Azzuri. Argentina had Messi, Aguero, Milito, Higuain and Lavezzi but apart from Messi, the Italians are better in quantity and quality upfront.

The current Azzuri is indeed shit in attack but they could create a formidable unit. The CB positions have 3 very good defenders in Bonnuci, chiellini and Barzagli with promising youngsters as backup. The RB position has Darmian who looks pretty good. Gigi and sirgui are also quite good goalies. Lb might be the only weakness that mediocre players will have to occupy.

In CM marchisio on form is a very good player and so is verratti and DDR is no amateur either. They are all hardworkers, good passers and verratti is also very creative. In attack Candreva is very good and balotelli is potentially very good too. Ofcourse a lot depends on whether you can make balo tick again.

Generally something like this is not a terrible team especially when you look at Brazil or any team other than Spain and Germany who have complete squads. Players in Green are ones that I think are pretty good when in form.. players in Blue are good but not great. Those not colored are mediocre at the moment.

Gigi
Darmian- Chiellini - Bonnucci - Desciglio
Verratti - Marchisio - DDR
Candreva - Balo - Gabbiadini

Subs: Select from the following
GK: Sirigui
RB: Abate - maggio
CB: Barzagli - Rugani - Romagnoli - Rannochia
LB: Padoin - Criscito
CM: bonaventura - Pirlo - Motta - Montolivo - Florenzi - Staruro
RW: Berrardi - Cerci
LW :Shaarawy - insigne - giovinco
ST : Pelle - Immobile - Zaza

Thats not a bad squad. It misses a star player like Neymar for Brazil or Messi for Argentina but there are plenty of very good to good players around. Conte needs to start working on Balo, and Shaarawy so that they can be in form. Playing the likes of Zaza and Immobile in the first team is a waste of time.
