Isco : Is playing in a team wich has by far and away the greatest competition for the AM position. Yet he plays in most of their games, starts in over half of them, and gets in good stats despite playing various positions. Chelsea and Manchester city are interested.


We have come far with our style of management, and we remain realistic. We can do an Inter and spend lavishly over our budget to aim for CL glory, but that isnt guaranteed. What is guaranteed is the financial fallout following the overspending, as both Inter and Milan endured. We are not fed by EPL cash, we arent fed by oil and we arent fed by insane tv contracts. I tend to rate midfielders higher then forwards, because i believe they make more impact. Especially a type like gundogan.
Objectively speaking, Gundogan is their best midfielder, and by far most important one. Overall, both him and Aubameyang are their best players.

The thing with Gundogan is, that he's the complete package, but also manages to make the team around him play significantly better. Bitter few players do it that well.

Yeah. In fact I'm pretty sure they'll sell nobody, because Perez realizes Zidane is a hit or miss thing. If Zidane fails nothing happens - Perez will hire someone else for the job in the Summer and Zidane will leave to coach some French team.

Right now Perez wants to get fresh air into the locker room and if the problems with Benitez are real, then I can see why he's doing it.

I'm ok with getting Matri if the cost is insignificant. Ultimately, I'd rather have a 4th striker who is happy playing as a 4th striker than someone who will make a fuss about playing time. Matri as a fourth striker on Juventus is absolutely acceptable as long as his wage is reasonable. Mandzukic, Dybala, Morata, Matri is not bad depth. And while Matri isn't ideal in Champions League - against the Hellas Veronas of the world, he is all you need.

As for Isco, if Rafa is gone, it will be more difficult. That being said, if Hazard moves to Real Madrid, they will sell someone, and if that someone is Isco or James Rodriguez, Juventus has got to go all in.

Another player that could make sense is Nasri. I think he is criminally underrated, and can play CAM, CM, CDM, or as wide playmaker. What most do not know is that he has played as a deep lying midfielder before. He could be cheaper too given the unnecessary rotation of talent at City. As far as I am concerned, as a team that isn't going to pay like RM or an EPL club, the best way to compete is to find teams that turnover players in complete excess and acquire them for reasonable fees.

If Hazard goes to RM, there will be a player sold.
If City buys an unnecessary attacker, Nasri will be sold.
If Chelsea wants to revamp the team due to the collapse, Oscar may be sold.
If United makes a big purchase, maybe Mata is sold.
Perhaps even PSG?

Barcelona, Bayern, and Arsenal turn over their players less so those teams are lesser opportunities. Although Barca did sell Ibra once.
