Btw Julian Draxler is ballin for Wolfsburg these days, would've been a nice signing. That Hernanes and Zaza money should've been spent more wisely.

Banega isn't a trequartista, and lacks pace to play that position. Gundogan is not going to happen. Oscar might come next summer.

I honestly see Nasri as the most realistic player coming in. Marrotta always ends up with the 5th choice target anyways.

Planting a tree in the middle of the park would be a better vice Marchisio.
He's a better passer/distributor than Lemina.

He played a couple of good games as regista against City and Sevilla.

We don't need any TQ this season

Both Gazzetta and Sky write Gundogan is our main midfield target.

It's pretty clear we won't do any major business in January. And considering the prices will be high in the summer market we're probably trying to act as early as possible and discuss and see if a deal for Gundogan is possible for the summer.

The 3-5-2 formation has changed the strategies of Juventus on the transfer market, the dream remains Gundogan. [Via @romeoagresti]

Pogba---Marchisio---Gundogan

Oh my :tuttosport:
That would be sick, only competition would be Bayern and Real's midfields, that assuming we also get real quality winger like Berardi to justify playing 4-3-3. Cuz we aint gonna sign a TQ with the huge chunk Gundogan would take, not that he would choose us, but if he did, would be atleast Dybala type of sum.

This is random Rakib like of me:

But I just saw he is freebie coming summer and can sign contract with anyone in few weeks, this guy would be a fantastic upgrade to Caceres spot in our squad, strong, quick, reads the game well, eager to go forward at times/build play and can occasionaly play fullback, tho mainly a CB (has weird combination of Chiellini and Bonucci in style). Is just 25 too, only downside is he would be another player going to ANC every other year, but compared to Caceres who would be injured 2/3rds of the season, its nothing.

Defenitely see him joining an EPL top side or somewhere like Porto/Monaco at the very least if not us.

I honestly do not think it will be our permanent formation. I think we will return to 4-3-1-2 again when we have the right players and we would alternate between that and the 3-5-2.

We had a very poor start and the players did not know what to do on the pitch. Marchisio was out and so the midfield was not functioning, and the entire front line had no idea what to do under the 4-3-1-2. They didn't know what to do because the game plan gives the front 3 a lot of freedom to mix things up and since they all were young and inexperienced and again the midfield was not even functioning without a distributor we were a mess.

Allegri made the right choice returning to 3-5-2 thereby going back to the basics where every player has a fixed role and particular movements that Conte first instilled. Dybala and Mandzukic are now more used to playing together and have high confidence and soon enough Khedira and Morata will also blend in well. Our CMs will soon start contributing more goals as this is a feature of the 3-5-2 formation so expect Pogba and Khedira to chip in with 15-20 goals this season. So going forward we should not be as dependent on Dybala for goals. Morata and Mandzukic should be able to do more than what Vucinic and Matri did when Dybala is out or rested. When the 3-5-2 is fully established, then I think its only a matter of time (and getting pereyra back) before Allegri reintroduces the freedom to the players in the 4-3-1-2.

4-3-3 wont happen as we are short on wingers for both sides. 4-3-1-2 needs just one signing CAM for the first team to be complete and the bench (apart from a proper vice-marchisio and licht) will also be complete.

Once again, what needs addressing most urgently is a proper vice marchisio to be able to play the 3-5-2 to this good effect until the end of the season. We should secure this basic gameplan for the current season especially that we have already qualified in Europe and it works magnificently in Serie A. If we win it then this is a successful season and that won't happen if marchisio is out and we dont have a replacement.By next season I think we can set dybala, Manzukic/morata free like Allegri did with Tevez and morata last season. We would also be able to improve on Pereyra.

In short, continue with securing the basics for this season by buying a vice marchisio and then in the summer, buy a CAM starter, RB starter or bench and CB bench.
