Ya, I mean just because he has a 100% record after 9 games in the Bundesliga and two games in the CL, and just because he's just broken the record for the highest number of successive victories in Bundesliga history, and just because Bayern is going to win their fourth successive Bundesliga title for the first time in their history(3 of which will be under Pep and his silly, ineffective tiki taka) doesn't mean that tiki taka isn't killing Bayern. I mean they should be winning the treble every season FFS, I know they only won it once in their history, but that also doesn't mean that reaching the semi finals of the CL is good enough, they should be winning it every year. Fuckin ineffective tiki taka, and that failure of a manager; Pep

You can't deny that Pep at Bayern has mostly been extremely effective against lesser teams than his. I mean with an amazing constistency and everything, it's definitely an achievement, but his style has also faltered virtually every time when they faced teams with comparable individual quality in the CL. Small sample size and other factors nonwithstanding, that should be criticised as well.

Yes it should, especially the manner in which he lost. But to even insinuate that he has been a failure at Bayern is a huge exaggeration. It's also an incredible record that he has reached the semi final at least in all six seasons he's had as a manager. Also i don't understand why being extremely effective in beating the smaller teams is not something that one is given credit for, 95% of a big team's games are played against the smaller teams.

He has absolutely no competition domestically. The Bundesliga is the most extreme version of the one-club league and it's actually getting worse year by year as Bayern's finances further and further outstrip the competition. Pep deserves a lot of credit for what he did at Barca, only an idiot would deny him that.

But conversely he deserves no credit at all for what he's done in the Bundesliga. They basically bought the best players of their rivals and destroyed any semblance of competition by doing so. It's a monopoly on talent in the league. If Pep isn't destroying Bundesliga as things have stood for the last 3 years, he should be fired on the spot. So basically, CL is the only thing Pep should judged on for his time at Bayern. And he's failed quite badly there. As in being absolutely smashed by Madrid and Barca. And his teams have been far too stacked with talent for that to be considered anything but very poor on Pep's part.

He does get some credit for perfectly achieving his league target. Sure its not as impressive as winning the EPL or La Liga but its also not nothing. Bayern had managers that lost it before and never had anyone who dominated to that extreme degree. Its not a great achievement but its not nothing. The same applies for the CL getting Semi-final regularly is not a great achievement but its not nothing.

Surely if you win la liga, Serie A or the EPL every year and reach the semis thats more impressive but doing that in the bundesliga at least reinforces his top coach reputation. He cannot be considered a failure coach. Its a non spectacular season when he doesnt win the treble not a failing one.

At Bayern, you have to win the league. Period. Van Gaal and Magath had seasons where they started out poorly, boom, out of here.

he didn't worth 40m anymore bayern was stupid enough to pay 40M for him
I totally agree. Always overrated. Get him out, always a Bayer-quality player.

Bundesliga was never quite the one team league in the past that it is now. They literally have bought out the players that made Dortmund a rival a few years ago, and allowed them to win those titles. Dortmund is a shell of that team because of losing their top players to Bayern.

When you have so little domestic competition, failing to win the CL, and getting smashed as badly in the semis as Bayern have been the last two years is a failure in my books. It's not a spectacular failure, but it's certainly no achievement, winning that league with the team he has at his disposal, and the teams they play against.

I would say there is domestic competition, I would say there is a lot. You have to remember that competition is not only at the top. Sure, Bayern is way ahead, if not first, then it's a failure, but look at two through six, and look at what Darmstadt are doing.

There is competition, that can't be denied. If you mean competition for first, shit, then The Serie A wasn't too competitive the past few years, nor was La Liga or Ligue 1.

There is no other league with a team with that kind of monopoly of the top players in the league. Bayern can literally buy anyone from almost any team in Bundesliga. They can buy Dortmund players or just ask them to run down their contracts and leave for free.

You think Napoli, Roma, Milan, Inter, Viola would sell their top players to us? Fat chance. Juve was the best team in Serie A by far the last two years but not because of having a monopoly of the top players in the league, more so because Juve was a very well constructed team, and this, alongside a couple stars has allowed us to dominate on a very limited budget where we can't buy those 30mil+ players.

And don't compare Spain to Bundesliga. Madrid and Barca provide massive competition for each other. Dortmund provided that 4-5 years ago, so Bayern just used their financial muscle to buy their best players.
