Yeah, I'm going to disagree.

I find it incomprehensible that a Juventus fan would try to argue that another club is bigger. If you have any sort of selfrespect as a Juventino, you should realise that there are no other clubs.
Thats actually a stupid thing to say.

Man, last time I felt this sad a player leaving was with our capitano. Obviously I'll get over it but can't believe how this guy won so many hearts over on the pitch. Asshole.

You don't get his point at all.

We're easily within the top 5 of all time as far as historical results, trophies won, domestic + continental. The only club that one could reasonably say is a cut above us when looking at all aspects of history, is Real Madrid.

Combining domestic dominance and continental success we're easily on par with all the other clubs vying for that second spot... Barca, Bayern, Milan, Liverpool, and perhaps ManU.

So for Juve fans to be arguing in here that clubs like Bayern and Milan are bigger exclusively because they've won more CL finals, that is incomprehensible and stupid.

Our domestic past can balance out these teams historical achievements in Europe so lets grant that we are just as big historically. Ok now look at the present. Who is bigger? Madrid, Barca, and Bayern are certainly much bigger and not just financially but also in terms of european success/near-success.

So if Bayern has an equal history to Juve, they have the better present. Apart from last season's surprise CL run, we have been a no show in Europe since 2003 and our recent domestic success is in an era were serie is arguably worse than Bundesliga (which Bayern dominates anyway). So the case still stands: Bayern is the better prospect than Juve all things considered. Given that Vidal already spent 4 years here and repeatedly won everything that can be won in Italy, it is not surprising that he went to a club that can presently challenge for the CL more than us and has a great history too.

Ffs no one but Seven's delusional ass claims that we're better than Bayern right now.

Does it matter which team is bigger historically? I really don't think that counts for much these days. Look at the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. I don't care what Vidal said, fact is he moved to Byaern because they among with Real and Barcelona, have been the most successful teams in the CL in the last 5 years or so. Players these days sign for teams for either financial reasons or for a shot at the champions league. Shame Vidal thought we couldn't repeat last years success, I geuinely thought we could with him around.
