I'd like to think thats the case too. How true was arsenals offer once they heard about this news?

This can not be sloley a financial move, because there will be a minimum of few clubs who would want Arturitos signature, regardless if he killed a dog in streets of turin one night that he was partying.

Also its a pretty stupid theory to suggest we wanted to get rid of him after the drunk driving incident when the fact of that matter he was one of teh best if not the best player at the Copa America.

Juventus stand by their players/coaches in difficult times.Remember the Conte fixing scandal ?

Like i said its a really silly and stupid assumption.Otherwise Bayern wouldnt even be after him in the first place.

There is something going on with Bayern.Know i am sounding like an idiot repeating the same stuff but i strongly believe it now.

In the end,it could all turn out to be a bit anti-climactic if we get Goetze on a buyback clause.

Does anyone have the image of Vidal's tackling rate vs the rest of Serie A midfielders in his debut season. he first season his tackles percentage was twice of the second place midfielders, who was De Rossi. He was along with few other reasons were the main reason we won that season and started this dominance and our run to the CL final last season as well, when we finally decide to change to a proper formation. Some have really short term memory.

We are losing a WC midfielder who had some off day early of the season but we nurtured him back and we are selling him for just 40 million when he is at his peak.

And then, there's Khedira. I read some saying we bought him to start giving him high wages. He was a freebie , and option to rotate with all other midfielders. Obviously, when a freebie comes along , we give him high wages. That is no indicator that he will be first choice. People about Vidal's knee but haven't even bothered about Khedira injury history for the past two season is 10 times worst than Vidal's. And we don't gamble on injury to be a starter.

Secondly, Asamoah as a CM. It's been 3 season's an even back then he was nowhere as close as Vidal in beasting the centre midfield. First, Allegri got to play him at the middle which he haven't done at all last season and then Asa got to show the form. Let's wait for the first to happen, before we speculate that Asamoah is good replacement for Vidal. So far it's just wishful thinking.

Ya , I don't buy that drunk driving and behavior crap. Vidal has his heart for Juve, even the shinpads.

I guess we'll know the truth pretty soon.

By the way, when you beast in an important cup tourney, usually your price will skyrocket. This guy's a CL finalist and a Copa America champion as well as MOTM in the final.Anyone who's objective enough cant say its a good deal in today's market. His off-field issues are totally irrelevant. He's not Balotelli ffs.It was stupid to see people give silly reasoning regarding the price.

There's only one question left to be answered..Why did we sell him to Bayern at a discount price. And there's only two answers to this.

A.To get one of the Bayern players in return.
B.Marotta is infact terrible at selling

Right now,i give the benefit of the doubt to Beppe after all the statements he's made in the past few months.I'm inclining towards option A right now.

"Vidal chose between two world-class clubs and decided on Juve. If he wanted to go to Bayern, we would have found an agreement," the former Germany striker told Bild.

"But we wouldn't have liked to transfer him to another club inside the Bundesliga. That's why we took the equal offer from Turin." - Rudi Voller

He preferred us over Bayern once, it was good for him and us. Now he can serve us by returning the investment we made on him 4fold on a mutually beneficial move. After serving us for four years, with his heart and win the champion for us every time, as a protagonist most of those times, his status cannot be questioned!

He is wanted by literally every big club eh.

So why are we seemingly selling to Bayern in one of the quickest transfer moves I've ever seen?

There has not been one credible report about multiple clubs supposedly interested in signing Vidal.

IMO we are selling him for about €10m (at least) less than what I think he is worth. But the market unfortunately says Vidal is worth whatever the buyer is willing to buy him for.
i read the 37M are to be paid in one installment and that it will have a huge positive effect on our finances in this financial year. Marotta is clearly plotting something
