That said I do think he should go back to his box to box CM position. He seems to get more chances with his runs from midfield than if he is playing in the playmaker role.. he loses that element of surprise when he joins the attacks and his midfield domination is too important to us. I feel he is sort of wasted behind the strikers.

With Khedira here though it will probably continue. Maybe we could try Pogba in that position? although I remember Allegri saying Pogba did not have the characteristics to play in that role.
