Calm your vagina's.

As someone who had muscular damage whilst playing soccer before i lifted, these doom theories, are completely out of this world.

Lets not forget, Vidal was totally fine and recovering from some muscle trauma cause by tackles. He was planned to play against Benfica, when he pulled out cause of the pain that didnt go away.

First of all, that rules out all the nightmare injuries to meniscus, ligaments and tendons. Because with those injuries, there would be immediate swelling and pain, making it impossible to run after the game. Furthermore, such injuries are easely spotted by a dokter.

What can actually happen ? Well, the choises are pretty obvious. Continious trauma that poorly recovers, can lead to inflammation of tendons or muscles. or give tendinitis. This inflammation doesnt nearly cause a swelling as big, and can be harder to diagnose when its the knee.
However, as you should remember from Vucinic last year, IF its tendinitis, this must be threated with care, and several games layoff, because continue to play with tendinitis, can aggrivate the injury, and lead to actual damage to tendon, connected muscles, and bone. Wich is 1 year out if it happens.

There is an odd chance that he could have a lesion on the ligament. Wich would mean out medical staff made a colossal fault in not diagnosing it in time.

Who was against Nainggolan ?
I am against Naingollan .He is ordinary prick.Guarin is ten times better.Period.
And Vidal DONT HAVE A MUSCULAR PROBLEM BUT A KNEE PROBLEM.ITS MENISCUS .So stop with that theories about muscle injuries. This is not a muscle injure. This is a knee injure which may lead to surgery.Period.He was given a 3 days rest period and after evaluation both our medical and Chile team medical team they will decide whether they will go to a surgery or not.

"Andrea Barzagli sat out the session after reporting pain associated with retrocalcaneal bursitis in his right heel, while Arturo Vidal underwent a positive individual workout in his bid to return to full fitness."

Didn't they say they'll test him wether he can start training again in GdS? That could have been that test.

Good to see. I've resolved myself to him missing the 2nd leg against Benfica, but if this means what I think it means his season isn't over already at least.

1) At least try to speak english. i make grammar errors cause i'm not native, but seriously, you dont even try.

2) Guarin is an offensive minded central/attacking midfielder. Nainggolan is a defensive midfielder, and one of the 3 best in serie a. In fact, apart from vidal i cant think of anyone i consider better. One could argue Inler, but pure CDM, Nainggolan is the one i'd take. AND has a good pass, what more do you want.

3) I said "meniscus, ligaments or tendons". Do you even fucking read bro ? If it was any of those, he wouldnt come complain "it still hurted", he wouldnt walk at all. I call tendinitis, thats a TENDON issue, not muscular. Lastly, i said that that the only horror injury he could have was a lesion on a muscular, IF our medical staff made a huge blunder.

A player with tendon damage, muscular damage, lesions, ligament damage would NOT be able to do so.

What vidal has is muscle or tendon trauma that didnt heal well, wich means at worst its a tendinitis.

I love the speculation going on in here about Vidal. Just goes to show how dangerous lack of information can be.
:lol2: @ Zach's criticism of Dukac's english.

And with the water in his knee too, Vidal himself said about water, not websites and whoever
