It worries me that he might start to think the same way, that he'll have to switch leagues in order to make a bigger name for himself. That may well not be his thought process at all though.

The way I see it; Bayern for instance never had trouble of attracting top names or keeping then current best players in their team, despite playing in Bundesliga, competition not so long ago inferior to Serie A and maybe even still. This club has prestige and as long as we consistently participate in CL, progress through group stage, manage to record steady 300m revenues, keeping players like Vidal or Pogba won't be too much of a difficulty. We'll have better sponsors in 2 years time and with it more funds available.

Davids is Gary Medel with ball control & technique. There's a whole other offensive aspect in which he lacked vision, depth and precision.



Have you seen Arturo miss a penalty that mattered? Go check the stats plz.



Davids allowed that because of the players he had on the side and because in those times Juve wasn't playing with a technical but slow regista like Pirlo. Also because of the tactical display in our formation so you can't really compare functions with those terms.

Comparing to Zidane to Vidal is just nuts. Apart from defensive duties like tackling , chasing and recovering (which zidane doesnt even bothered to do)....obviously Zidane is unmatched.

Nothing wrong with that really, Zidane is unmatched by anyone in the history of football when talking about Midfield offensive duties.

Fair point, Bayern are an exception of course, perhaps we are too, I would like to think so.

I think that Serie A has reached the bottom a couple of years ago, can't get worse than that.

From this season things look better, some top names have arrived and most of the teams are thinking about new stadiums and ways to make money.
