after a bunch of horrible games at least one of our core players is back, played like himself today, real beast. he should wake up the rest of our guys, we are walking a very tight rope in Europe and will be facing one hell of a battle in Italy.

Never stopped, I thought he was going to be sent off though before Asamoah came on, but putting him in Pirlo's role worked well.

I'm actually going to defend him on his fresh air shot, if you watch the replay he does get clipped slightly before which seemed to put him off.

Average first half and could have been sent off for that kick on Marcelo. How the man still manages to play even when completely knackered is beyond human. Big props for that.
