Marchisio as captain. The guy first has to stop hiding.
It doesn't matter how long is someone here. It's got more to do with influence and charisma. By the time Buffon retires Vidal will be here 5-6 years. He is more influential and already more popular player among Juve fans. And Marchisio was never a captain at least not when Buffon and Chiellini were on the pitch so I don't see how can you take captaincy from him when he didn't have it in a first place. The guy is hiding for most of the matches and you want him to be captain??? I understand about Chiellini. He's next probably but not Marchisio. It's bench for him in the next years forget about captaincy.

I think Marchisio captained the team on several occasions to be recognized as a vice-captain already. After Marchisio, there's no clear successor. Storari is nearing retirement and isn't a starter anyways. De Ceglie isn't influential nor a starter and will probably be sold soon. Bonucci got the captaincy once and isn't recognized as a captain.
Chiellini and Marchisio played in Serie B with us. We should never disrespect either by stripping armband of 'em. My view is that it's going to be harmful to the team. In 3-4 years from now, you don't know what will happen but as long as Chiellini and Marchisio are in the team, I don't think Vidal should be a captain over 'em.

Chiellini is a vice captain. My view is it won't be harmful ad I've seen players losing their captaincy before. Conte to DP. When someone has more influence it's foolish to hold him down. It all comes to who other players are recognizing as their leader. And judging by the events on the pitch Vidal is a real general. Others follow him already. Marchisio doesn't have it.
