I really like this player. It would be great if his passes were a bit more accurate but he doesn't necessarily need to be the best passer of the ball as long as he makes up for it with his constant running. He is an important part of why Marchisio has been doing very well this season. There are still a few things he needs to improve in his game but he is still too young and it's only his first season at Juve. I feel he's gonna have a very vital role in our team in near future.

I never liked Amauri, never wanted him at Juve considering that inflated price. Momo on the other hand, loved him when he first joined our team, don't really know what happened to him later but I really think Vidal is a smarter type of player, he seems to be more composed and concentrated and these factors are exactly what Momo was/is(?) lacking.

Shame that he was (probably) instructed not to take so many shots as he did, even though it was kinda necessary since his shooting was off and Marchisio is doing that job much better so far. But I hope Conte will let him take shots and get more involved in the final third because I think the bad shooting and passing won't last long.
I know him well, that's why I'm saying this. Stats don't tell the true story (due to the number of penalties, which is 7) but last year he did have great numbers. 11 goals and 10 assists is a very good number. But he was much more than that to Leverkusen. He was the soul of the team, at only 23. In Juve we see his work rate the most and we appreciate his aggressiveness, but he's much more than that and I am sure that we will see that later in the season.

P.S: And it really sucks that we're not using his abilities in the air during set pieces. He's our best player in that department. Check his goals in youtube and you will see that half of those were bullet headers after a corner kick or a FK.

Since we have no other defensive midfielder and since our defense seems too shaky at times, I think it would suit our team better if he doesn't involve himself in the final third. I never saw him play for Leverkusen though I have to admit.

He played DM there and he was doing the job really well, despite being 20-22. Last year he got a more advanced role and he exploded.
It's true though that in Italy you must be much more technical to play that advanced AM role and Vidal probably won't make it there. But occasional picnics in the final third won't hurt.

wasnt comparing attributes, rather tenures at juve i.e starting strong. Soft spot for Amauri for the 2 monster games he had against madrid, in our first CL post CP, special moments those were.

I'm happy with how he's being used right now but since I've never seen him play in Leverkusen it would be wrong of me to judge him based on solely what I've seen so far this season. But I do have to agree that I hope his passing skills improve. But as you're all saying this guy will improve each year (and even each game) and I think he will improve even more when he speaks italian fluently. He has lost the ball a couple of times due to flawed communication, someone has picked him up from behind which never would have happend if he understood italian better. I also believe he will feel more secure in every aspect in his game when this is completed.

"Marcisio? A good friend. He is a good person, always helps and explains to me when I need it"

"Stadium opening? Amazing. I have never felt something like that before. The stadium is really unique and gives me special feeling"
