Vidal and Marchisio are basically both allowed to go wherever they want. They run twice as much as the other team so we have an advantage any way you look at it.

But Vidal is mainly used to press whoever has the ball while Marchisio won't do that as often (but he still manages to do it).

Thing people seem to forget is that Vidal is our youngest player. He's not even close to reaching his peak. So awesome.

Vidal and Marchisio are like a tandem, with Pirlo acting as the bone. One will push up whilst the other sits back vice versa, if they weren't both on the pitch whoever was playing would be called into question on weaknesses they each have. Playing together allows these to be cancleed out as they are a good foil for one another and also for Pirlo do do his thing whilst we are unbelievably energetic, credit to both of them, and also Pirlo.

If I were to go to the Buffon thread and say he hasn't been the same no one would call me a Buffon hater, but for some reason the Krasic & Vidal threads are so highly protected by a small group that can't stand their players being criticized by flaws that are evident to even the coach, but for some reason they don't see it.

No it doesn't mean that, many posters pointed to some aspects of his game wich he should get better at, hell Asif was critical of him every game. His passing has been bad for a quite sometime but i'm unlike you don't think he's great passer like he's made to be. And i like the way he pressure upfronts but on other hand he doesn't help in our last third as he should be. There are areas on his game where he should pick it up that doesn't mean we hate him.

Please don't put words in my mouth. He's not a great passer, I don't know from where you got that impression that I said so. I was merely pointing out that what he brings to the table is much more than decent passing.

You put words in Ahmed's mouth by saying he just outright dislikes the player. Has he actually said it?

There are no haters BD, read all the posts or hush. No one hates Vidal, some just think his passing can be improved. Is that a clear indication of disliking a player?

Comparisons with Melo aren't logical. Comparisons with Sissoko are, though, and Ahmed is right. But it's the Sissoko from the Ranieri era, who was an instrumental player for us.

I don't think that Pazienza has the characteristics to successfully replace Vidal and offer the same things the Chilean offers. I think that we'll be screwed if Arturo gets a longer injury.

Yes, but still, Vidal's passing is even better than 2008's Sissoko. So still his argument is invalid.

What argument? That vidal's passing isn't that great at times or that he resembles Sissoko? I don't agree with the Sissoko compairison, but I do think his passing is something he needs to work on. We have been lucky that nothing has come of it yet, like a goal against.

It's so dumb that I or Ahmed can't say Vidal's passing needs improved without it being taken way out of context. He still had fine games, but if he can manage to improving his passing game our possession will only be that much better and the less harder he and the team would have to work fighting to get the ball back.

He has some great passes, quite a few actually but it's the easiest passes he sometimes misses or tries to force. I saw 4 missed ones in the opening 10 minutes, you can't do that playing away to a big team. You just can't.

I have, in his earlier games. Both Cheese and I. I don't know if Ahmed or Matt have, but I know Cheese and I highlighted some weak games from him earlier. Definitely.

Ever since this war broke out when I called Vidal out for his passing against Milan it's been the same thing. Us trying to defend ourselves against some pretty annoying accusations and just trying to point out a flaw that Vidal has had, just as some of you have pointed out against marchisio.

I do, when he did have a supbar game, i said it, tough it's was only one game this year, But it's cool to criticize Cheesio and make jokes about him but when someone points to something that Vidal should do better or say that he had a bad game, he's quickly labelled an Interista like, hater, troll...
