People won't admit to most of them because:

1.) Vucinic only came because we failed to get Aguero, which technically is my fault so Marotta is in the clear there...
2.) Pirlo was free and old...perhaps even over the hill.
3.) Lichtensteiner is not offensive enough.
4.) Vidal came because we failed to get Inler.

The players seem to care more than typical friendlies though. Playing our arch rivals before the start of a new season is going to much more competitive than a typical friendly.
