I lost a bet to a crazy motherfucker, what is your excuse? :smoke:
finally supporting a proper team? :p

Seeing how mad Bayern are, it looks like Vidal badly fucked up Bayern's plans. The Germans most probably had everything pre-arranged. They knew who to buy, who to sell and where to sell but Vidal signing for Juve complicated all those transfers.
I won't be surprised if buying Vidal was the reason why they let go Van Bommel so easily in the winter or why they never tried to keep Altintop. They are Germans, they make plans long in advance and they don't like it when someone screws up all their plans :D

Great job Arturo, great job.
doubt they would let their mercato hinge on the possibility of signing one player, they aren't amateurs, after all.
Bayern obviously wanted Vidal but seeing as they were ready to wait another year before signing him on a Bosman, kind of makes it hard to believe they had planned their mercato around him.

Still, one more reason for them to hate Juve ... and the KHR comments were so ridiculous and unnecessary :sergio:

 It's not strong, it's just an impression. I asked for clarification about this player but you left that out. :p
He's a good player.

Strong, mobile, good tackler, decent passer.

At his best when allowed to be a box-to-box player, but suspect he'll be wasted in a deeper role trying to protect Pirlo in a 4-4-2.

Nope, they had him planned for this season. They were even directly saying "If Bayer don't sell him to us now they will lose him for free, again to us, next year"

They had him as a sure signing, I believe.
But both Vidal and especially Leverkusen fucked them up. I guess Bayern didn't expect that Voeller would be so determined not to sell Vidal to a rival team. They thought he will accept their offer (15m eur reported) and bring Vidal on his back, all the way to Munich.

And I assume they already worked in the same fashion in the past. Make deal with a player and easily buy him from another German team. That is why they were so sure that Vidal will be their player this season, that is why he fucked up all of their plans for the midfield and that is why they are so mad right now.

what I was referring to.
I agree that they probably thought it would be a relatively easy transfer - another Balack, Ze Roberto, etc -considering they have done buisness with the Aspirins in the past.

Still, my point was that it would take complete and utter amateurs to build your mercato around a player who is not yours yet ... doubt Bayern officials are that naive, considering they have proven the opposite time and again.
having lost Vidal, they would simply go for another player with similar characteristics, that's pretty much all the damage this move would have done to them.

Still, there is no denying that Vidal was their first choice for that role.

Vidal effectively fucked them. They're saying "We don't need him anyway, we have Alaba" ..

Google Alaba and you'll piss yourself laughing.
they are just throwing hissyfits left and right now and making it seem as if they couldn't care less about losing Vidal ... won't be long before they sign another proper mid, though
