what makes you so sure we will refuse an offer in the 50s? i actually agree with suns, i think our silence and vidals overtures are indicative of that, 50 mil will get you vidal.
so, here are the facts that we have:

-best CM in the world
-is happy at the club and doesent want to leave
-has a contract for 3 more years
-IF he was for sale, there would be atleast 5 clubs after him (Real, PSG, City, Bayern, Barcelona) besides United

so what makes you think he would be sold for such a low price in todays market...

X is afraid Conte left cause Vidal would be sold, give it a few days and we'll see there is no need to be afraid.

hes 27 with a possibly bum knee, and above all what makes me think we'll is the same reason we all know we will eventually sell pogba, our board/president have said that at every opportunity

Marotta couldnt tell a lie if his life depended on it. If he says Vidal stays and that Vidal said he wanted to stay, then thats by all counts the truth. So many negative turdbags in this thread. They would still believe a Vidal sale was just around the corner even if it was 3rd september, coz Man Utd and other big clubs surely have the power to keep the window open for them only.

Vidal stays, and there was never anything saying otherwise.

so we are going to sell vidal, yet there is not a credible newspaper in the whole wide world that is reporting the negotiations.

right. in this day and age where top secrte government spy secrets get leaked, a measly peasant transfer is not?

I also sensed hesitation in Marotta when he was asked about Vidal, I am not saying he is gone but I won't be a bit surprised if we sell him.

They're simply saying this now to try and keep a lid on the fans/media for the time being. Of course he'll end up in Manchester before the end of the transfer window. It's all just timing, otherwise the media/fans outrage would heavily stigmatise the club.

We might sell Vidal or Pogbs.
But we could survive that, if we had the players to field in the left wing.
Failing to get those, would mean we are stuck with 3-5-2, which could only get us that far...
If on the top of that we lose Vidal, then that would be a step backwards.

Losing Vidal alone, was not reason enough to see Conte leave, but in the content of other failures, perhaps...

I love how you present that as a fact :D

I think Marotta is just showing resolve for negotiation purposes, it looks to me like he's selling, but wants to cash in on him as much as possible. I hope I'm wrong and he stays, id hate it if he went to the Mancs
