Apart from our negotiations with Vidal, which finished in the best possible way for the both parties involved, in the media Tuttosport concretely is a story of allegedly strong interest coming from Man Utd in the previous weeks, who tried to prevent Arturo from signing the extension by presenting him rather tempting offer of 6m euros per year. Very nice words from Arturo after he accepted our apparently inferior offer; I want to be captain one day; message for all the other followers and showing once again how much he really values this club. :vidal:
This is such amazing news, i got goosebumbs all over reading that. I allways tought he really liked it here, but never realised it was to such extend.

On todays game, clinical and decisive. Actually kinda knock to Llorente who had two simular shooting opportunities in the box, and struck both straight at the keeper, where Vidal put it sweetly away in the corner

I'd play him as the deepest mid for our Champions League clash.
@Red would agree with me.
He wouldnt, because Vidal isnt that good as a holding midfielder.

The massive strenght from vidal comes to early pressure, and allowing to run at the player in possession and pressure him , attempting to intercept.

The deepest midfielder cannot do that, or the players is straight trough to the defence. Marchisio should be deepest mid. or Pogba, but Pogba is also wasted there, altho less then vidal.

Not sure.

During the game tonight there were thoughts bouncing around my head of how Juve could take advantage of Pogba's physical presence back there to help the defenders in dealing with Drogba.

I don't find playing any of Juve's available midfielders deep a hugely attrative prospect.

I'd need to know more than I do about how Galatasaray play before making a decision.

As far as I know, Sneijder is their creative force in the CL. He really enjoys that bit of extra space, so you'd need a DM to destroy him out of the match.
