Thigh worry for Juventus’ Vidal
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have confirmed key midfielder Arturo Vidal limped out of the 3-0 win over Napoli with a muscle problem.

The Chilean was replaced in the 86th minute of the Juventus Stadium tie by Italian international Claudio Marchisio.

Vidal will undergo a series of tests over the next few days to assess the extent of the problem.

Juventus will next be in action in two weeks’ time at Livorno once Serie A resumes after the international break.

Vidal has scored seven goals in 16 games for the Old Lady so far this seaso

At least this injury doesn't come at a particularly crucial part of our season. Hope he skips international duty and makes a full recovery in time for the CL.

Of course. Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Ecuador qualified from the South American section. Uruguay need to defeat Jordan in the playoffs to make the finals.

Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Paraguay missed out.

Paraguay was never really an enjoyable team to watch, they just seem to take Catenaccio to another level and the only offensive weapons were long balls and headers.

Ecuador now is a very strong team with fast pace players. I think all Southamerican teams will pass group stage in this WC for sure, QF were fierce.
