Given that he was scouted in a top foreign league, Juve snapped him up before Bayern could grab him, and Beppe managed to secure him for 10.5M or so, Vidal is Marotta's most complete, and I think probably 'best' all around transfer... and he's also easily our player of the year. The future is bright!

The problem is we couldn't hope to replace him with 1 player. We'd need a good CM (Asamoah?) and AM/SS to cover him (Ozil/Suarez/D.Silva etc)

I don't think we'll sell this summer. But I'm afraid we will next year, we'll simply get an offer that we can't reject.

As for the crazy offer, IMO he's totally worth it. Scary thing is that he's only 25, he has 6 good seasons ahead of him.

But man, I'd cry if we sell him. He's just too good.
