The yardstick of performance applies to each and every player on this team. Just because my opinion of your favourite player differs over one game, doesn't make it blasphemous.

For better or worse, it was my reading of the game. I thought Caceres, Vidal and Quag all were off, Pirlo just about par, Marchisio invisible for large parts. My MOTM was Barzagli and for large parts our long ball game killed our width and rendered our mid ineffective.

Im not asking anyone to agree, but I don't understand how and why someone should disregard another the way some people here choose to do. It's quite sad, to be honest.

I'm calling what I saw. What's with the fanboy battle?! I'm no less off a fan of this team and all its players so eff off, k.
There's no fanboy battle here. It was just a bit hypocritical to describe Vidal's performance as horrid and then forget to post worse adjectives in Quag's thread. After all, if there ever was a player who had a horrid game yesterday, it was him.

I said it in both threads, that the attackers as well as the mids were hampered by the long ball game. Im viewing them based on their roles and levels of responsibility. Vidal is probably the third or fourth name on Conte's sheet week in and out with good reason and if he doesn't perform, he is not above the criticism thrown his way.

Even if Quag was in the stands yesterday, your comment would've been the same and you know it. Simply because you're not a fan. That's what is hypocritical.
