I mean Messi didn't deserve it in 2010.
You do realize Messi scored 50+ goals that season and Iniesta did fuck all that season except the WC final goal? (he was injured or suffering to find form entire year). He is amazing, but he got his 3rd spot due to WC decider, not on actual whole season.

And Sneijder won everything with inter plus silverware at world cup but he wasn't included in top 3, same with Forlan, since France football are giving award with FIFA federations voices it's crap award because Honolulu football federation will always give their voice to messi ,

Messi's ballon d'or win in 2010 is pure and simply NOT defensible. People are making caricatures of themselves when they defend it.

Even this year it would be defensible if he wins it. His achievement of 70 goals or so is rivaled by Iniesta's EC win, Drogba's CL win and Ronaldo's excellent season and La Liga win. Won't be a scandal if Messi wins it. But in 2010 he actually won against a treble winner who was fantastic in CL and at the world cup.

Anyway, I once showed it in more details how Sneijder actually would have won the ballon d'or that year if FIFA didn't interfere. Sneijder clearly won the journalists voting (that was the only voting before ballon d'or was merged with FIFA), but the national federations outnumbered the journalists and gave the price to Messi. Also, in the journalists voting Messi won the 4th place that year. Both Xavi and Iniesta were ahead of him.

You are defending the journalists voting, the same journalists who had Iniesta ahead of him? Yeah that makes sense. Top la liga scorer, top scorer in CL (didnt win but was clearly best player there), vs his own teammate in Barca who had struggled to even have an average season.

You know very well that players who did something big in big competitions get lots of votes. That's how Iniesta was getting 1 or 3 points from every journalist. They surely thought that someone who literally won his team the WC deserves to at least get 1 or 3 points. But most of them were giving the 5 pointers to Sneijder and Xavi, which was deserved.
The fact that Sneijder hardly made the top 5 in the national teams voting, which resulted with him not even making the top 3 in the overall voting, is what you should attack here.

Plain and simple, Messi was literally gifted the ballon d'or by Fifa via the coaches and captains from Botswana, Tonga and British Virgin Islands.
