No way. He's not lethal enough. As finisher there's a lot more pressure on you then when he's trying from the distance as midfielder.. Good thought, though

unless we are trying marchisio as our top forward... now that is fantastic IMO... for years I've been wanting to see marchisio as SS/ST, wonder why nobody did that.

did you laugh at that idea? just see youtube compilations of marchisio's goals (not just last season), why not, he quite have the speed, skills and lethality on both feet, marchisio could've been higuain.
I don't know whether to cry or laugh.

that was the instinct and lethality of a WC striker, I never seen something like that came from davids, deschamps, vieira, emerson when they were in juve...

I truly believe marchisio have that natural talent and instinct to be a striker, it just that he never pushed to be a striker so that many of us apparently laugh at that idea.

IIRC Marchisio WAS a SS at the youth level, but he is too damn wasteful to be deployed there and it is obviously a waste not to use his runs from the midfield, his workrate and intelligence there.

but yo, napoleon, if you serious about selling a captain, you probably don't even understand what Juventus means.

did marrone, asamoah and isla flopped before at their respective italian clubs? no they didn't, look, marchisio as good as he is, never really that fundamental to our team, even in last season when he was at the peak of his career so far, he was not as fundamental as pirlo and vidal were; the stats speaks for themselves; yes he scored important goals, but IMO that was highly influenced by our forwards inefficiency.

I think by now marchisio is replaceable by marrone, asamoah and isla, and if teams come and offer us swap for him with WC forwards we should not hesitate to do it!
In still flustered by this comment? Do you mean his time at Siena?
