can we stop it with the marchisio vs vidal nonsesne?

it's not like they compete for the same spot.

vidal should be compared to himself, and same for marchisio.

it was a red,but he could have absolutely avoided the red with a similar tackle,he just needed to get nearer to bommel before sliding in,he was too far and had to get his legs high so he could perform the sliding tackle..
I still liked his performance in the first half, could have gotten lucky with that left footed shot..

Sometimes I think he is in the wrong league, he's technically very poor, he would be well suited to the EPL, where his lack of technique wouldn't get noticed as much. He needs to improve big time.

He needs to do better.
I wish he had broken Van Bommel's leg.
Van b*mhole would have deserved it for kicking Vidal in the head earlier. Why wasn't Van b*mhole punished for that?

It wasn't imo. He intended to foul but it wasn't a harsh foul and it occurred in the middle of the pitch. Seriously, what's the rule about such tackles?
:agree: I agree! I watched the replay. His toe was no more than 3cm from the ball, so he was a little short. IMO it was a yellow at most; not a red. The ref only gave a red 'cos we had equalised and time was running out for milan to win. A lot of decisions went in favour of milan after we scored.

Careless, reckless, using excessive force
“Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or
consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution.
• No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless
“Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the
danger to, or consequences for, his opponent.

A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned
“Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary
use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent.
• A player who uses excessive force must be sent off

Van b*mhole wasn't hurt by his challenge. Afraid we have to agree to differ here!

I won't even bother reading previous comments. The red card, which was a valid one, ruined his another overall very good performance. If it wasn't for him in the first half, we would have played 45 minutes without a midfield. Will certainly be missed next game.
