Yes he is a regular under Jupp and always plays as CDM. He havent been injured this season from what I remember.

Alaba has been decent since Jupp came back, not the 2012-2015 Alaba, but still fine. Kimmich and Alaba as wingbacks would be fine, but that would leave Coman out which I think is a shame, he has been our best winger this season - also happened after Jupp came back

Alaba is trash since 2015, but still regular starter. Kimmich is better in forward than defence, honestly. I don't expect Kovac to do wonders, but let's see.

Coman as a super sub could play LWB, RWB, AML, AMR, or even bring forth a formation change, all depending on opponent and situation. But they still need 2 more wingbacks for rotation and i heard Robbery stays another season, so 3421 might not be it
